Team member for 9mobile in an LCIA arbitration concerning a $10.8 million international carrier services debt.
Cross-examined a forensic accounting and valuation expert in the Ghana and Uganda proceedings.
Argued the IBA Rules on the Taking of Evidence 2020 and Ghanaian evidence and ADR statutes to keep expert evidence on the record.

High-stakes commercial and jurisdictional disputes before Nigeria's Federal High Court and State High Courts.

Opposed a mareva-style freezing application over an alleged ₦256.8 million debt for Wheatbaker Hotels — application struck out.
Lead counsel for a dealing member of the Nigerian Exchange Group defending an entitlement to 6,007,884 demutualised shares.
Secured same-day discharge of ex-parte mareva orders restricting a retail chain's bank accounts.
Co-counsel securing the discharge of forfeiture orders over personal assets of Mr Thomas Etuh.

Issuances, facilities and security packages — acting for issuers, borrowers and their advisers.

Led the team as solicitors to the issuer on a ₦15 billion bond issuance programme by AB Microfinance Bank Limited under an SPV structure.
Co-counsel on the ₦3 billion commercial paper issuance by Cutix Plc.
Advised an indigenous film industry borrower on a $5 million Afreximbank facility and its full security package.
Reviewed term sheet and facility documents for the restructuring of a $251 million Afreximbank facility.

Acquisitions, investments and divestments for funds, strategic investors and founders.

Advised Kwararafa Africa Limited on the acquisition of a 60% interest in Notore Chemical Industries Plc at a transaction value of $150 million.
Advised LH Telecommunication Limited on its acquisition of EMTS, including due diligence and the ₦146 billion investment documents.
Advised CardinalStone Capital Advisers on a $6 million investment in Afya Care as part of its Series A raise.
Advised a downstream oil and gas company on a proposed 100% divestment of its aviation business and assets.

Schemes of arrangement, liquidator representation and creditor recovery in distressed situations.

Obtained Federal High Court orders sanctioning schemes of arrangement for First Aluminium Plc and Notore Chemicals Plc.
Co-counsel for DIL in obtaining an interim injunction over $496 million paid in settlement of a $5.3 billion claim, pending proof of debt before joint liquidators in the Isle of Man.
Represented a liquidator, Mr Oluwakemi Balogun SAN, in defeating a dismissed employee's claim on jurisdictional grounds.
